Edit (on top since most probably don't have the patience to actually read these updates of mine): Well took my laptop into the shop today. The left click button was broken. If I used my tablet I could still use it almost normally but since it was still under warranty I went ahead and had it sent in to be fixed. Which means in the interim I'm using the laptop that I had upgraded from. Now this one doesn't really have much of any of the contacts/links I had acquired since I got my newer laptop last June. So if you had talked to me on AIM/YIM/otherwise (which is mainly only one or two people total) then I likely won't be able to contact you. The main thing to keep in mind is that this machine only has 512 MB of RAM while my normal one has 2 Gigs (don't say I need to upgrade since this is the fallback and I already had, it's just in the shop). Trying to have Flash and Photoshop open at the same time was a pain enough with 2 Gigs so I'm not going to even try on 512 Megs. So don't expect the artgrind to update often until I get it back from the shop. I'll still be doing the images, just won't update them every day. /Edit.

Here we are, up into July. Nothing much to say other than I managed to borrow a digital camera so I was able to upload all of those images that I had finished traditionally since early 2008.

I’ve also started up that artgrind thing in order to try and flesh out what Mige would look like. I think at this point I’m more just fleshing out the anatomy/poses than actually working on the colors. This month will probably have a lot of me working out what Mige’s weapon will end up being. Though sad to say I actually dreamt about working on the artgrind. In the end that one file will have 366 images posted from photoshop (183 drawings and 183 dialog boxes). Though I’ve already run into one problem with them. Apparently as soon as the file I’m putting all these together in flash gets to be about 50 MB I start running into a rather annoying error. Whenever I open it I end up getting the “Unable to initialize Java Runtime Environment. You may need to reinstall Flash.” So far I have a temporary fix that works on a daily basis that involves copying the file, opening it to see if glitch went away in that one, delete original and rename copy. But that only works for a while so on Monday I had to clear everything out and shrink down the size of the Photoshop image and then send them back over. If anyone knows of a better fix, feel free to tell me.

Story wise I’m still plugging along. I have dissolved the RCC quota for Transformed Struggles but since it’s been so long since I had last worked on it I haven’t really felt like writing on it. Still not sure if I’ll reinstate the rotation but I kind of like the idea of working on whichever story when I want.

Next Drawing Progress: Drawing 1 (Depression): Got the background done. Drawing 2 (Eevee): Drew the head. Drawing 3 (Fox Head 5): Drew one line for the forehead. Drawing 4 (Held Captive): Drew the body of the individual. Drawing 5 (Normal Fox 7): Got the head drawn. Drawing 6 (Color Fox): Got the first impression of the sky done. Drawing 7 (Keepers of the Gate): Started Refining very rough sketch. Drawing 8 (Benkei Fox): Got the very rough sketch done.
